Mission statement of the WVSIPP: To promote the development and practice of safe, high quality, cost effective interventional pain management techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of pain and related disorders and to insure patient access to these interventions’.

Overview:  We invite you to participate in the upcoming “PAIN, 2017” conference presented by Dr. Timothy Deer. This will be a dynamic educational opportunity which will attract pain practitioners from across the United States. The meeting will take place at Loew’s Hotel at Miami Beach, FL.

This event will unite approximately 300 pain practitioners from across the United States, Europe & Caribbean including: engineers, researchers, anesthesiologists, neurosurgeons, neurologists, pain medicine specialists and venture capitalists. Our goal is to present cutting edge data and information to practitioners of all levels and provide a forum to interact and discuss evidence based medicine to improve the quality of care and access to care for patients. There will be many opportunities for you to network with colleagues from across the United States and attend educational sessions to expand your knowledge on current available treatment options for patients and practitioners

Expected Attendance: PAIN, 2017 is expected to bring clinicians, scientists and industry partners from all over the United States. We anticipate in excess of 300 clinical providers to attend including: physicians, mid-level practitioners, nurses and pharmacists.

Course objectives: The goal of “PAIN, 2017” is to provide a unique and dynamic program on the most up to date, cutting edge information on therapies available to treat patients in pain. Each faculty member is a recognized leader in the field. Information and data presented will be on label and present the most recent and relevant information available with a focus on improving patient care, access to therapies and overall outcomes.

Format will include individual lectures, panel discussions and cases. Prior to the conference, Implanting Courses and Hands on Workshops will be available.

Accreditation: The West Virginia Society of Interventional Pain Physicians is accredited with Commendation by The West Virginia State Medical Association (WVSMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation: The West Virginia Society of Interventional Pain Physicians designates this live activity for a maximum of 19 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
